Fabricator Welder

The Opportunity
 This is a permanent, full-time position of minimum guaranteed 40 hours per
week, with the normal work week consisting of 45 hours per week.
 The position is based at our workshop in Christchurch, with the potential to
travel if required.

Fabricator Welder
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
 Cutting and preparing job lots of steel ready for manufacture.
 Reading and Interpreting engineering drawings
 Marking and setting out of work pieces in readiness for assembly tack up and
full weld out.
 Competence in Mig solid wire welding positions
 Ability to operation a forklift
 Components and parts are manufactured or fabricated to specification within
budgeted time frames.
 Internal and external customers’ expectations are exceeded.
 Plant, equipment, and machinery is kept in a tidy and well-maintained
condition.
 Work collaboratively to achieve our goals and uphold our standards.
