About the Employer: Our client is a dynamic specialty plant nutrition and crop protection wholesale company proudly servicing agricultural retail clients across New Zealand. In an exciting growth phase, they now seek a proactive and professional Customer Service and Administration Officer to join their small Tauranga-based team.
 
About the Role: This is an integral support position within the business, requiring a highly organised and service-oriented individual to manage day-to-day customer interactions, order processing, back-office accounts and administration, and internal coordination.

You will work closely with the Managers, the Technical and Marketing Team, as well as suppliers, international colleagues, and their highly valued client base throughout New Zealand.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service and Order Processing.
  • Coordinating 3PL partners and freight contractors.
  • Issue Handling and Quality Management.
  • Inventory and Database Management using SAP Business One.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Invoicing and Reporting.
  • Coordinate imports/Exports and liaise with overseas suppliers and logistics providers.
  • General Administration and Team Support across other varied tasks.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Working knowledge of "SAP Business One" would be a clear advantage
  • Familiarity with Accounting software and ERP systems
  • Experience with accounts receivable and payable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
  • Friendly and professional communication skills
  • Fluent English - both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
  • Must be extremely customer-focused.
  • Must have a valid passport and be able to travel overseas.
