We are currently seeking experienced Tilers to join our team in Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that values quality work and takes pride in transforming spaces to deliver both functional and visually impressive results for our clients

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect surfaces to be tiled, identifying any issues that may affect the quality or durability of the finish.
  • Prepare and provide estimates for materials, tile quantities, and time required for installation.
  • Perform surface preparation tasks, including the removal of old grout and cement, cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing where necessary.
  • Lay tiles according to detailed tiling plans, ensuring alignment, spacing, and aesthetic quality.
  • Measure, cut, and shape tiles accurately using both power and hand tools to ensure a precise fit around corners, edges, and obstacles
  • Apply grout and sealant between tiles, ensuring smooth and even joints.
  • Create decorative wall and floor designs for both interior and exterior projects, adding artistic and functional value to each space.
  • Carry out finishing work such as cleaning tiles, sealing, and polishing to achieve a professional appearance.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to meet project specifications and timelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining open communication, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Always adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Pay rate

Minimum $28/hour, maximum $32/hour

 

Guaranteed hours of work per week

 Permanent, full-time, minimum 30 hours per week

 

Requirements for the job

  •  A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is a must
  • Physically strength, stamina and dexterity
  • Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Fulltime availability between 8.30AM to 5.30PM from Monday to Saturday
  • Be flexible working on Sunday required for some projects.
  • No criminal records
