We are looking for aspiring leaders who are energetic, creative, and innovative to step up and shine in this entry-level retail management position at our Mobil Petrol Stations in Auckland. This position is permanent with a minimum 32 hours/week of work. You will be involved in all aspects of assisting in the running of a busy store including:

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the manager in planning site operations, and planning and implementing strategies to run the business profitably and efficiently.
  • Assist the manager in coordinating day-to-day operations  
  • Assist the manager in increasing store sales and profitability by introducing new products, competitive pricing, and controlling store expenditures. 
  • Supervise the operations of the site runs smoothly

What we are looking for in an Assistant Manager:

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in any retail /customer field OR a level 2 or 3 qualification or higher
  • Must be flexible enough to work on shifts in the evenings/night and over the weekend
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a dynamic team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
