Choice Tiling NZ Limited specializes in floor and wall tiling services, catering to both residential and commercial projects.  We are seeking an experienced tiler to join our team.

This is a full-time permanent position with guaranteed 30 hours of work per week.  Hourly pay rate ranges from NZD 25 - 35.  Hours may vary depending on projects.

Duties will include:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and levelling areas before applying tiles.
• Lay tiles according to design and specifications, ensuring correct alignment, spacing, and finish.
• Cut and shape tiles to fit edges, corners, and around obstacles, using specialized tools.
• Apply waterproofing to wet areas
• Repair damaged tiles and replace broken or missing tiles.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
• Adhere to safety protocols, and report any incidents to the director in a timely manner
• Maintain professional communication with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the work.

Key Requirements:

• 1 year relevant tiling work experience.
• Knowledge of waterproofing techniques.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using tiling tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in construction environments
