K & M Enterprise Private Limited requires Full time permanent Chef to work at their Indian Eatery business based in Auckland CBD, New Zealand.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:-

• Preparation and presentation of North Indian and South

Indian dishes

• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation

and presentation

• Should be able to cook traditional Indian cuisines

(South/North) independently.

• Able to make good estimations of raw material required

and the cost involved

• Ordering requests for purchasing food supplies

• Planning and preparing menus and help in estimating

food and labour costs

• Discuss with Chef/Restaurant Manager/Owner regarding

food preparation issues and improvements required for

the growth of the business

• To preserve the food and freeze them as required

• Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations• Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking

procedures

• Keep the kitchen clean and tidy

• Delegating and supervising Kitchen staff

• May Select, Train and mentor junior staff

Candidate Requirements:-

• Knowledge of traditional North Indian and South Indian

cooking techniques and ingredients

• Ability to work on Weekends

• Have an awareness and commitment to following all

health and safety work practices

• Flexible with working hours

• Be punctual

• Have good attention to detail

• Clean Criminal History

• Be Honest and Reliable

Experience or Qualification:-2 Years relevant work experience is Required OR Relevant Diploma level qualification.

Hours and Position:- It is a full time permanent job with minimum 30 hours per week.

Pay Rate:- $25 to $30 per hour
