About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and client-focused Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with corporate clients. In this role, you will oversee cross-border trading and global multi-currency accounts (virtual account solutions). You will have logical sense to be able to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions and ensuring seamless transaction experience.
A strong understanding of KYC/AML Compliance and regulatory requirements is essential. While teamwork is essential for collaborative success, you will also be empowered to take initiative and drive individual client projects independently.
Pay rate: $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with existing clients in corporate and SME markets.
- Manage sale of virtual account services to existing account clients and identifies further sales opportunities within these accounts. Increase sales to these clients.
- Manage customer satisfaction and retention and coordinates the preparation and presentation of cross-border trading and virtual account solutions sales proposals.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of client projects
- Maintain knowledge of the company’s products and services and keeping updated with other available cross-border trading and virtual account options in the market
- Advise clients on cross-border transactions, virtual accounts, and Foreign Exchange solutions. Ensure understanding of services and a smooth on-boarding process
- Analyse sales trends the marketability of the virtual account services. Prepare regular sales reports, work across departments to promote sales and meet sales targets
- Regularly review CRM system, understand and monitor the status of the company’s existing clients, and identify further sales opportunities within these accounts, including contacting these clients and promoting the company’s products and services to these clients.
- Assess clients' financial needs. Explain the company’s products and services to clients and ensuring effective delivery of solutions to meet their financial needs.
- Providing pricing plans and negotiate on service contracts with customers. Record orders and transactions.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with the company’s products and services. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize service delivery and action promptly to resolve problems.
- Recommend improvements to products, services and solutions
- Apply knowledge on KYC (Know Your Client) and AML/CFT Anti Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism, to assist with due diligence processes
- Support the compliance team in transaction monitoring to meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree qualifications in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in financial services, or a related field may substitute for the qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and preferably in Mandarin (but not mandatory) because a big portion of our clients are Chinese speaking.
- Experience in cross-border payments, virtual accounts, or FX solutions is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships.
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills with previous experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Familiarity with KYC/AML compliance and the ability to assess regulatory requirements.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strategic mindset.
