Bajwa horticulture Limited is Providing Kiwifruit orchard management Services in Bay Of Plenty Region, which offers a full range of services that aim to optimize productivity and maximize returns for our growers.

 

We are looking for a Tractor Operator (Full time Permanent Position at Least 35 hours a week and Pay rate would be $26 to $30 per hour) with exceptional skills to add value to their team and assist in the current operation

 Bajwa Horticulture Limited has a team of orchard workers and also hire extra casual workers to perform different types of work in orchard on seasonal basis as per requirement like Mulching, Winter Pruning, Harvesting, Summer Pruning and Spraying etc. We are looking who is caring, people-orientated, focused, organized, and great at multitasking and would be well suited to this role for a person .What does the role involve?

We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals as machine operators

Applicants should possess the following: 

  • Experience operating tractors and other machinery, including ideally sprayers 
  • Have your own reliable transport and full clean NZ driver's license 
  • Kiwifruit industry knowledge / experience would be an advantage 
  • Be comfortable to work independently and as a team player
  • Able to follow instructions 
  • Solid problem-solving skills and a positive attitude 
  • Good time management  skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • A clear understanding and awareness of safe work practices although all training would be provided. 
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness 
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including weekends when required during peak seasonal demand (Mar-Jun)

Applicants also need to be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and for this role the candidate shold have at leaset two years experince in driving and knowledge of Farm Mechinary.
