Payrate: $30 to $35 per hour (Depending on experience)
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 40

 

Key Requirements:
At least 2 years or more of relevant experience.
or
At least Level 4 or above relevant qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying undercoats.

  • Mix and apply paints using spray guns or other tools to refinish vehicle surfaces.

  • Match colours and finishes according to manufacturer specifications or customer requirements.

  • Inspect completed work for quality, ensuring surfaces are smooth and properly coated.

  • Perform touch-ups, spot repairs, and full resprays on a range of vehicles.

  • Maintain tools, spray booths, and equipment in clean and safe working condition.

  • Follow all safety guidelines related to paint handling, chemical usage, and ventilation.

  • Work collaboratively with panel beaters, mechanics, and workshop staff to complete jobs on schedule.

  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and jobs completed.
