Looking for multiple experienced fitters who have a good attitude towards work and great references. You will be completing various fitting duties including preparation, fabrication and installation of duct and pipe for HVAC and plumbing services. The successful candidate will have at least three years of relevant experience or a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification.

About you:

The ideal candidate must be able to:

-          Interpret blueprints/drawings and lay out accurately

-          Drill and install metal bolts and brackets for maintenance services including hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines

-          Check and fabricate metal parts accurately according to plans

-          Cutting, threading, bending insulating and installing pipes

-          Work unsupervised and in a team

-          Sound English communication skills

The ideal candidate will also have:

-          Two contactable references

-          Your own set of tools

-          Able to pass a police check and drug test

About the role:

-          Minimum 30 hours of work per week

-          Hourly wage ranging from $26.69  - $35.00

-          Permanent role – Monday to Friday, with extra shifts available on weekends

-          We have opportunities across various locations in New Zealand. As part of your employment, you may be required to travel to a different region within New Zealand for different projects, including Auckland, Manawatū-Whanganui, Marlborough, Waikato, Wellington, Otago, Nelson, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Northland, West Coast, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Southland.

-          You will be given reasonable notice if you are required to relocate to another region. Franklin Smith will cover transportation and accommodation expenses related to the relocation.
