We have a full-time Assistant Manager (Retail Supervisor) position
available at our liquor store located in Parakai, Auckland.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service experience while monitoring and
    upholding the Sales of Alcohol legislation
  • Have sole charge of the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Effective use of retail merchandise strategies to optimize store presentation,
    promotional display and most importantly generate sales
  • Overseeing all aspects of cash handling, stock management and health & safety.
  • Invoice Posting in POS system
  • Receive and Check the deliveries/stocktaking as required
  • Staff management and record keeping in roster/time sheet as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Reliable worker with any New Zealand specific experience
  • Clean Driver License or able to access to reliable transport as role is based in
    rural area.
  • Must be able to submit to regular drug testing
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Mature and responsible when it comes to following procedures and dealing with
    tough situations
  • Strong communication skills, a passion for delivering world class customer service
    and proven track record in building lasting rapport
  • Commitment in upskilling your team from on boarding, on the job training to
    specialist product knowledge.
  • Have the confidence to work independently without supervision

You must hold or be able to obtain a current Liquor Control Qualification and be
physically fit as you will be required to lift, move and shelve stock.
