LWC Building Construction is looking for 4 carpenters who will be responsible for the delivery of either residential or commercial carpenty services to LWC clients.

 

You will be based in Auckland.

 

This is a full-time permanent position. Wages are between $26 - $28 per hour and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

 

Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or similar experience associated with a trade or construction role:

  • Able to read and interpret plans
  • Can work unsupervised or part of a team
  • Can use a variety of hand tools and power tools
  • Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening
  • With MEWP and Site safe
  • Calm, professional temperament with the ability to cope in a pressured environment.

 

General duties:

 

•      Read and interpret drawings (plans and blueprints)

•      Perform all aspect of construction

•      Follow specific instructions from site management

•      Construct wall and roof framing, floor joist, foundations, and bearers

•      Install wall cladding

•      Construct concrete formwork
