Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Good understanding of anatomy and physiology

  • Genuine passion, motivation and care for massage therapy and a desire to grow your skills 

  • Assist acupuncturist to finish treatment.

  • assessing the client's muscle and joint conditions and discuss their pain history

  • determine the type of massage that is appropriate to relieve their pain, injury, stress and recovery

  • applying different massage techniques to ease pain and cure injuries, maintain wellbeing,or address medical illnesses;

  • provide advice to client the best way to avoid further injury and whether there should be a follow up treatment; 

  • Clean work areas and sanitize instruments if needed; 

  • Arrange appointments and collecting payments if needed; 

  • Adhere to a high standard of service and safeguard customer satisfaction;

 Requirements:

  • Diploma in relevant background

  • Working experience is not a must but preferred

  • Mandarin speaking is preferred 

  • Be flexible towards working hours, especially working on weekends 

  • Mature, responsible, can work under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Self-motivated and innovative.

  • Super problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Other details:

  • Term: Permanent
  • Minimum Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week from Monday to Sunday
  • Salary: $27.00--$32.00 per hour
  • Place: Auckland
