We are seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach our Radio Broadcasting programmes.  

As a Lecturer your primary responsibility will be to recruit students, to plan and deliver quality lectures and assessments, to support learning through face to face as well as online delivery modes, to monitor the papers and mentor students.  As a part of our academic staff, you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of the papers that are taught within your curriculum area.   

Our successful applicants will have:

·       A diploma in broadcasting or relevant qualification.  

·        Experience in NZ Commercial Radio.

·         Practical knowledge and skills in commercial radio and its related software/hardware.

·         A strong understanding and knowledge in key disciplines of radio.

·         Working knowledge and skills in use of social media applications and digital media.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Good written and oral communication and presentation skills.

·         Networks within NZ broadcasting/radio industry.

·         Working knowledge of tikanga and conversational ability in Te Reo Māori.

·         Research skills.

·         Knowledge of quality improvement systems and processes.
