Experienced PE Welders required.

We are New Zealand’s premier manufacturer of PE pipes, tanks and associated fittings for the water, storm, and waste-water industries, based in Auckland. Our Site Operations Team undertakes pipe installation and welding on our customer's sites, and we are on the hunt for experienced PE Welders to join our busy site-based team in Auckland.   

About the role:

·         Permanent position,  40 hours per week working time, Monday to Friday (occasionally weekend work)  

·         Pay range $31-$35 per hour, depending on skills and experience. 

Requirements for the role:  

  • Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience required working on the same role. 
  • Ideally have some kind of extrusion welding qualifications, PE Pipe Butt Weld and Electrofusion Welding Qualifications
  • We would strongly prefer candidates with the following certificates: Working at Heights, Site Safe and Confined spaces
  • Must have a good level of spoken and written English.  
  • Have good customer relation skills, remaining calm and controlled even when the pressure is on.  
  • Essential Knowledge of Health and Safety and the hazards of operating on construction sites.  
  • Have a clean driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • Be fit and healthy and must pass a drug test.  
  • Have a positive can-do attitude. We care that your tum up each-and-every-day and be the best you can be. If you can laugh at the end of a long day covered in mud in a trench, then you're probably going to fit right in!  
  • It will be a further advantage if you also have experience in using hand tools and power tools.
