Days and hours: Minimum 45 hours per week
This is a key internal sales role, delivering the customer service requirements for Hynds and ensuring customer needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal point of contact for customers contacting Hynds in person, by phone or via email.
- You will establish customer needs and work with the wider team to ensure these needs are met.
- Processing orders, answering product enquiries and dealing with other customer requests as required.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to generate quotes for customers, primarily using a list or schedule of products provided by the customer to prepare an accurate commercial quote
- Ascertain other customers’ needs (timing, terms, special requirements), and work with Supply Chain and engage with external and internal suppliers to put together a package that meets all of the customer requirements.
- Communicate with manufacturing and logistics about the delivery plan and any issues during the fulfilment phase.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Internal Sales role
- Excellent customer service skills are paramount to ensure a strong customer relationship and that all customers’ needs are met.
- Flexible, reliable and customer focused. Communicates effectively with the wider team and operates in a professional, respectful and supportive manner.
- Good range of product and application knowledge is important, as is an understanding of how products work together to form
- Can demonstrate business acumen and speak in clear business language. Is business smart and understands the key levers that drive business performance.
You must:
- Have at least 2 contactable references
- Ability to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screen test
- Return a clear or satisfactory police report
One permanent vacancy based at our Nelson Branch with a minimum of 45 hours per week. This position provides a competitive remuneration package with a salary range of $65,520 - $74,880, and health insurance.
