Sugar Principle NZ Ltd are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role with 40 working hours per week. You need to work five days a week including one day on the weekend. The working location is in Auckland. We offer an hourly rate of $30-$32.

Some role responsibilities would include:

·            Planning and discussing the menus and special offers with Chef

·            Planning, pricing and organising functions

·            Managing stocks and maintaining records of stock levels

·            Managing rosters

·            Maintaining records of financial transactions

·            Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget

·            Ensuring dining facilities and kitchen keep at a high standard of hygiene, functional and of suitable appearance

·            Ensuring health, safety regulations are followed

·            Assessing and Ensuring customers are satisfied with meals and service

·            Selecting, training, evaluating and supervising waiting and kitchen staff

·            Advertising and promoting the food and services

·            Solving problems in related to all aspects of operation

Preferred Skills and Experience:

·         Must have a relevant NZQF Diploma or higher qualification, OR

·         Have at least three years of relevant work experience

·         Passionate about providing excellent customer service

·         Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy

·         Proactive and able to anticipate and resolve issues before they escalate

·         Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

·         Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

·         Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

·         Proficient in using retail management software and MS Office

·         Ability to work according to rosters including weekends and holidays
