Our busy restaurant is looking for a dynamic Chef to help us with the busy environment.
If you are keen on leading and have prior relevant experience of at least 2 years or have relevant qualification, we may have a career opportunity for you.

We want someone with hands down experience in cooking and planning menus. We are looking at someone who has worked in a similar role for at least two years or have a relevant qualification.

To be successful in our Chef role you will be:

- planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
-monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
-discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
-demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
-preparing and cooking food
-explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
-may select and train staff
-may freeze and preserve foods
-good communication skills
-Able to work professionally under pressure and stress, especially during busy hours.

The applicant must be able to do flexible working hours, including weekends, late nights and
Public Holidays, as the role requires. 
Salary range for the position: $30.00- $32.00 per hour, depending on experience.
