Aluminium Windows and Doors Installer

 

Location: Auckland Region

Employment Type: Full-time (minimum 40 hours/per week), Permanent role

You pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour depending on your skills

We are now looking for an Aluminium Windows and Doors Installer to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access to a reputable and experienced company.

 

Tasks you may carry out:

  • Interpreting drawings and reading and understanding all instructions before starting each job
  • Identifying and selecting the right materials, cleaning and preparing metal stock
  • Cutting, manufacturing and assembling aluminium joinery to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Fitting and assembling metal components
  • Fabricating parts together and metal finishing as specified
  • Attaching fittings and completing the product build
  • Cleaning the product and completing final quality checks against specifications
  • Installing the finished products according to the blueprints on site
  • At all times use supplied PPE
  • Keeping workstations clean, tidy and safe
  • Assisting team members in other sections as directed

To be successful you will need:

  • Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
  • Be physically fit and willingness to work outdoors
  • Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically
  • A "can-do" attitude
  • Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years' relevant work experience in the same field or industry,
  • OR have a relevant level 4 qualification or above（ equivalent overseas qualification or certificate can be accepted）
