Spaces available on an upcoming long-term contract for experienced fitters, South Auckland/Franklin district. Starting June/July 2025.
About the Opportunity:

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team on a large  installation project. The expected start dates will be approx. June/July and will run to the end of October. The role involves:
  • Installing mechanical systems
  • Structural fitting
  • Alignment of rotating equipment
This is a contract open to both PAYE and GST contractors.

Skills & Experience:

To be considered, you will need:
  • A relevant trade qualification in Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience as a mechanical fitter, with a preference for experience in large plant or equipment installations
  • Previous experience with laser alignment of rotating equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with tight tolerances
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a larger team
  • A clean criminal record and ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
