EVE MOWING LIMITED is looking for a skilled and passionate Gardener to join our team. If you have a green thumb and love working outdoors, this is your opportunity to grow with us!

This is a full-time role 35 hrs minimum garuanteed. Pay starts from $30 to $35 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Planting, cultivating, and maintaining lawns, gardens, and landscapes
✔ Mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding to ensure a well-maintained environment
✔ Identifying plant diseases and pests, and applying appropriate treatments
✔ Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment safely
✔ Installing and repairing irrigation systems for optimal plant growth
✔ Following landscaping plans and ensuring high-quality garden maintenance
✔ Ensuring health and safety compliance in all gardening activities

✔ Lopping limbs off trees and shaping branches using chain and handsaws

✔ Examining trees to assess their condition and determine treatment

Qualifications & Experience:

✔ Minimum qualification is of a relevant diploma at level 4 or 5 OR at least 2 years of relevant work experience ( Gardener Assistant/Helper etc)

✔ A NZ Level 3 Certificate in Horticulture may be considered along with a year of NZ Work Experience in a similar role
✔ Knowledge of plants, soils, fertilizers, and pest control methods is a requirement for this role.
✔ Basic Knowledge or Experience with garden tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems is expected 
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
✔ Good physical fitness to handle outdoor tasks in different weather conditions

✔ A Valid Drivers Licence would be advantageous.
