Job Description
Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Conducting food supply order and stock control
- Training new kitchen staff including management
- Managing portions, controlling and maintaining food quality
- Planning menus & developing new menus
- Preparing ingredients and cooking food
- Estimating and advising on food prices
- Discussing food preparation issues with kitchen staff & managing team
- Ensuring that foods are prepared in accordance with traditional style and recipe
- Monitoring the quality of food from food preparation to presentation
Applicants for this role should have:
- Relevant work experience (3 years at least) or relevant cookery diploma quaification
- A can do and professional attitude
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team
- A strong understanding of health & safety, well-being
- Korean cuisine background is not necessary, but advantaged
