Job Description

Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Conducting food supply order and stock control
  • Training new kitchen staff including management
  • Managing portions, controlling and maintaining food quality
  • Planning menus & developing new menus
  • Preparing ingredients and cooking food
  • Estimating and advising on food prices
  • Discussing food preparation issues with kitchen staff & managing team 
  • Ensuring that foods are prepared in accordance with traditional style and recipe   
  • Monitoring the quality of food from food preparation to presentation

Applicants for this role should have:

  • Relevant work experience (3 years at least) or relevant cookery diploma quaification
  • A can do and professional attitude
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • A strong understanding of health & safety, well-being 
  • Korean cuisine background is not necessary, but advantaged
