Welder

We are looking for 1 full-time Welder in Auckland. The ideal candidates must have the followings:

- 2 years relevant experience in construction or manufacturing field, or a level 4 or above relevant qualification

- Good welding skills, including an understanding of different welding processes and equipment.

- Knowledge of metals and their properties.

- To be safety conscious.

- Be reliable & punctual & self-motivated.

- Able to work alone and in a team.

- Physically fit the job.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with architects or designers to create a blueprint for the portable cabins, including layout, dimensions, and structural modifications.

• Adhere to engineering requirements and ensure compliance with local building codes and zoning laws.

• Cut openings for doors, windows, and ventilation systems, and reinforce the structure through welded fittings as required.

• Be familiar with welding machines, operate various machines to process and produce metal stocks

• Clean the portable cabins thoroughly and inspect them for any repairs or modifications needed.

• Secure the portable cabins to the foundation to ensure stability and prevent movement.

• Weld or bolt portable cabins together to create the desired structure, ensuring proper alignment and structural integrity.

• Assemble all completed parts by using welding techniques to portable cabins.
