NZN Projects Limited is looking for an experienced Carpenter. This is a full-time permanent role based in Auckland. You will be required to work for minimum 32 hours per week. Maximum are 40 hours per week.

Applicant will be offered $34 per hour.

You will be required to perform below duties:

  • Read and analyse blueprints to determine job requirements.
  •  Measure, cut and build frames for house, walls, windows, doors, and staircases.
  •    Measure and install door frames, window frames, infrastructure such as cabinets, shelves and more.
  •   Maintenance of existing structures and fittings.
  • Reading plans.
  •   Communicate with other trades professionals to ensure project completed in a timely manner
  •  Effectively use a large range of hand and power tools.
  •   May repair existing fittings.
  •    Nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames.

What we are looking for:

  •  You must have either a 3-year industry relevant experience or a relevant qualification.
  •  Basic maths and problem-solving skills.
  •   Strong attention to detail.
  •    Proficiency in using tools and instruments.
  •    Expertise in measuring and cutting wood and other materials such as plastic, fiberglass, and    aluminium.
