About the Company:

We are a locally owned commercial air conditioning company, based in Auckland. We have the opportunity for a qualified Refrigeration / HVAC engineer to join our dynamic team. Our works are varied from servicing specialised equipment for critical environments, ranging from large data centres to medical installations, to small installations of the same as well as various service and maintenance works in the commercial sector.

About the Role

This position is a full-time position with overtime available. We have a rostered on-call program, that pays a daily allowance and overtime callout fee.

Duties would normally be, but not limited to Installation of piping, cabling, ducting, units, drains, grilles and diffusers as required for HVAC systems. Service, maintain and repair HVAC systems. Test for faults on HVAC systems. Diagnose, repair and replace defective parts. Clean filters, grilles and diffusers as required. Perform any related works as required and follow Health and Safety Policies.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years HVAC industry experience

  • Current EST Electrical License

  • Must have a FULL & clean Driver's License

  • Refrigerant handlers License.

  • Must be eligible to work and live in New Zealand 

  • Clean Police record.

  • Must have good fault diagnosis skills

  • A positive attitude toward Health & Safety

  • Experience with dealing with on-site customers and stake holders

  • Integrity and high personal and professional standards

 Above all, you will have to have a positive attitude and willingness to learn and a sense of humour.
