We’re preparing to launch Southland’s most exciting hospitality destination — the Distinction Invercargill Hotel. With 150 elegantly appointed rooms, a premium restaurant and bar, and exceptional guest amenities, we’re seeking passionate professionals to help us set the standard for modern Kiwi hospitality.

We’re looking for a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house dining team. You’ll be responsible for delivering seamless, high-quality service while creating a welcoming and memorable experience that reflects true southern hospitality.

Your Role:
  • Lead, guide, and mentor FOH staff with energy and professionalism
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to ensure menu and service alignment
  • Work in partnership with the Bar Manager/Mixologist to deliver a cohesive dining and beverage experience
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including rosters, service standards, reservations, and guest engagement
About You:
  • Experienced in restaurant or hotel FOH leadership roles
  • A natural people leader who thrives in a fast-paced service environment
  • Confident working cross-functionally with kitchen and beverage teams
  • Hospitality-focused with an eye for detail and a drive for excellence
  • Hold LCQ & General Manager License
