We are seeking an experience Restaurant Manager to join our team. This is a permenent role with a minimum of 30 hours per week. As the manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of front- and back-of-house operations, in line with the following requirements:

  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring a consistently high standard of food, beverage, and customer service.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to maintain quality and hygiene.
  • Recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coach staff, and manage disciplinary processes.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L reports.
  • Monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to control costs.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with the Employment Relations Act.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Work with marketing to drive promotions, social media engagement, and community events.
  • Maintain a safe workplace under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and staff health & safety training.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in hospitality industry  or Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or relevant areas.

    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Sound financial acumen and experience with budget management.

    • High level of literacy in Microsoft Office and POS systems.

    • New Zealand citizen or resident preferred
