We are looking for a Cafe Manager to lead and develop our wonderful team. This is a full-time position, 35+ hours a week over 5 days with two days off together.

Kitchen Republic is a well-established, busy Cafe located in Otumoetai and know for our quality coffee and delicious take aways and dine-in meal. We are currently on the lookout for Cafe Manager to lead our team ensure smooth daily operations. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • planning menus in consultation with Chefs.
  • planning and organising special functions.
  • arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
  • maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
  • ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
  • conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
  • selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
  • may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 Years` experience in the hospitality industry, or relevant diploma or degree
  • Strong level communication skills and higher level of professionlism in customer service.
  • Early morning availabilty is essential, we Open in early Mornings.
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and geniune passion for food and hospitality.

We offer $29 to $35 per hours depending on your experience, 30 to 40 hours a week.
