We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer/Setter for a small Jobbing Workshop and Manufacturer of Winches and machined parts to a wide range of customers. These customers range from Engineering companies, Equipment manufacturers, Food processors, Fabricators and many other varied businesses.

  • Mechanical aptitude, be able to read and understand engineering drawings with the view to having parts manufactured
  • Engineering trade qualifications and an understanding of various manufacturing methods is essential
  • Proficiency with various versions of Cad/Cam manufacturing software such as Fusion360, Solidworks, and Siemens NX
  • The ability to take drawings and Solid models and programme and setup machinery (Lathe and Machining Centre) to produce the required parts
  • Verify settings and make adjustments as required
  • Inspect and measure finished goods and check
  • Work in team efficiently and to high-quality standards
  • Follow instructions and get the work processed with minimal or no supervision
  • Be able to work under production deadlines
  • Good communication capabilities, verbal and written
  • Knowledge of common materials used in Engineering industries
  • A 'can-do' attitude.
