Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with clients: Understand their preferences and advise on hair care, styling options, and suitable treatments.
  • Cutting, trimming, and shaping hair: Use scissors, clippers, razors, and other tools to achieve the desired style.
  • Styling hair: Including blow-drying, setting, and using styling products to create various looks.
  • Coloring and treating hair: Apply dyes, tints, bleaches, and other chemical treatments to change hair color or texture.
  • Braiding and plaiting hair: Create various braid styles as requested by clients.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment: Ensure cleanliness and proper function of all hairdressing tools and equipment.
  • Customer service: Ensure client satisfaction and manage appointments effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 01 years of experience in hairdressing or a relevant NZ Level 4 or higher qualification.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • A passion for hair styling and creativity.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
