bakery managers

We create and serve exceptional food at our locations and we are looking for multiple talented bakery managers to join us.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of products, including breads, pies, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
  • Follow recipes and adjust ingredients as needed to ensure consistent quality.
  • Operate kitchen appliances and tools to create baked and other cooked goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Assist in the development of new recipes and seasonal items.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of products.
  • Able to manage and motivate staff 
  • Maintain schedules and trainings

Personal Skills

  • You will be working under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A good team work ethic is required, but you will also need to work independently.
  • Postive work ethic and being able to receive instruction from senior managers.
  • Customer service skills and communication skills.

 

Other requirements

  • Applicants for this position need to be able to legally work in NZ
  • Must be available to work 7 days a week from 4.00am to 8.00pm depending on rostered hours - 30 hours of guaranteed work, more work may be required depending on rostered hours
  • Must have experience as a baker or be suitably qualited with relevant credentials
  • Must be able to pass drug tests
