bakery managers
We create and serve exceptional food at our locations and we are looking for multiple talented bakery managers to join us.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of products, including breads, pies, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Follow recipes and adjust ingredients as needed to ensure consistent quality.
- Operate kitchen appliances and tools to create baked and other cooked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and seasonal items.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of products.
- Able to manage and motivate staff
- Maintain schedules and trainings
Personal Skills
- You will be working under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A good team work ethic is required, but you will also need to work independently.
- Postive work ethic and being able to receive instruction from senior managers.
- Customer service skills and communication skills.
Other requirements
- Applicants for this position need to be able to legally work in NZ
- Must be available to work 7 days a week from 4.00am to 8.00pm depending on rostered hours - 30 hours of guaranteed work, more work may be required depending on rostered hours
- Must have experience as a baker or be suitably qualited with relevant credentials
- Must be able to pass drug tests
