We are looking for three experienced cooks for our food manufacturing unit in  Auckland.  

Job Description:  

• Preparation, seasoning and cooking of food  

• Portioning food and adding dressings to ensure excellent presentation  

• Able to meet any special dietary requirements  

• Cooking all authentic Indian curries, Tandoori dishes, Traditional Sweets, and Snacks  

• Monitoring the quality of dishes from basic preparation through to service to  customers.  

• Regulating temperature controlled cooking equipments  

• Labelling and storing of all produce in the chiller  

• May train kitchen staff  

• Minimising waste and maintaining kitchen cleanliness  

• Maintaining the kitchen to excellent hygiene standards in accordance with ‘Hygiene  Certification’ requirements .  

• Maintaining personal hygiene and upholding high standards of health and safety

Pay: Minimum $24.00 and maximum $30.00  

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed  

Willing to work on weekends and Public holidays (Working days will be between Monday  and Sunday)
