Position: Aluminium Window & Door Fabricator

About the Role:

We are looking for 5 skilled Aluminium Window & Door Fabricators to join our team. We are a New Zealand owned company. This is a full-time permanent position, you will work a minimum of 40 hours per week . You will be paid the market rate between $29.50 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience. You will work Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 3.00pm, and any other reasonable hours as required.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Cutting, assembling, and fabricating & glazing aluminium windows and doors
✅ Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
✅ Operating machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
✅ Ensuring high-quality finishes and precision in all fabrications
✅ Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
✅ Collaborating with the Factory Manager & team to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in working with aluminium, either as a technician, in aluminium fabrication and/or installation, or fitting.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards
