About Us:

Hongxian Ltd is a well-established food manufacturing company specializing in the production of high-quality meat rolls. As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee daily production activities, maintain high standards of quality and compliance, and drive operational efficiency within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate daily production operations to meet production targets and quality standards.

• Plan production schedules and allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity.

• Monitor and maintain strict adherence to food safety and workplace health and safety regulations.

• Supervise and support production staff, including training, rostering, and performance management.

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods; liaise with suppliers as necessary.

• Implement quality assurance procedures and ensure consistent product quality.

• Assist with operational budgeting and cost control initiatives.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes and workflows.

• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Skills and Experience Required:

• A relevant Diploma (Level 6) in Business, Commerce, Management, Food Technology, or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in any field

• Alternatively, at least two years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.

• Proven leadership experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.

• Sound knowledge of New Zealand food safety regulations and health & safety practices.

• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Fluent in English (Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency is an advantage).
