We are looking for 2 Retail store assistants for our Retail Store in Edendale.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Be involved in stock control and management.
- Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
- Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
- Stocking shelves with merchandise.
- Answering queries from customers.
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to the Manager.
- Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
- Balancing cash registers with receipts.
- Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping.
- Responsible dealing with customer complaints.
- Working within established guidelines, particularly with brands.
- Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
- Receiving and storing the delivery of stock items.
- Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.

Experience/Qualification:

• Should have High School Qualificaion.

• Should have cleared Drug test and Criminal Record
• Able to perform the tasks independently
• Position will require weekend work, public holidays and some
split shifts
• Able to work late in the evening and do the closing of the business
• Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
• Have good understanding of business development and management

Number of positions vacant – 2x
Hourly wage rate - $23.50 - $26.50
Full Time - 30 hours week is guaranteed or more
