Carpenter

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures. Your daily tasks will include:

• Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plywood, weatherboards and other materials using hand/power tools.

• Assembling frameworks, walls, roofs, staircases, and flooring with precision.

• Building and repairing perimeter wooden fences.

• Installing doors, windows, cabinetry, and interior/exterior fittings.

• Performing renovations, repairs, and maintenance on existing structures.

• Collaborating with the team to complete projects efficiently.

Work Details:

• Location: Auckland (various construction sites).

• Employment Type: Permanent, full-time.

• Working Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (Monday – Friday, with occasional weekend work if required).

• Salary: 28–35 per hour (depending on experience).

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
To be considered, you must have:

• At least 3 years of proven carpentry experience (residential/commercial projects).

• OR a Level 4 qualification in Carpentry/Building/Construction (or equivalent).

• Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining productivity/quality

• Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and construction techniques.

• Ability follow instructions.

• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying site conditions.

• Teamwork, reliability, and strong attention to detail.

Additional Desirable Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

• Experience in other construction areas (e.g., tile installation, painting, or general handyman skills).

• Spanish language skills (advantageous for team communication).

• Own vehicle for transportation to sites or valid NZ driver's license.
